Built to last
Most lamps are designed to match a moment. This one is designed to disappear into whatever room it's in and stay there for years. The base is turned from a single piece of hevea hardwood, heavy enough to sit solidly, warm enough to feel like a real object, and finished so the natural grain shows through.
The shade is a gently tapered profile in off-white linen. It throws a soft, even light that reads as warm on a wood-heavy bookshelf and calm against a plain white bedroom wall. Nothing about it needs to be styled around.
It ships ready to use: thread in a standard E26 bulb, set it down, and reach for the inline toggle on the cord.
